EverStick ® from GC are silanated glass fibers incorporated into a gel of Bis-GMA and PMMA resins. On contact with dental resins, the outer sheath of the reinforcement partially dissolves, allowing the composite to penetrate.
EverStick® for everyday dentistry
everStick® fiberglass reinforcements have been developed to provide
practitioners of new modern solutions and patients greater comfort.
The fiber reinforcements are made of silanated glass fibers, a polymer
thermoplastic and a photopolymerizable resinous matrix.
everStick® products allow minimal dentistry that preserves tissues
health of the patient for as long as clinically possible, while allowing other treatment options should the patient need them in the future.
IPN - the heart of everStick® fibers
The quality of the bond between the fibers and the composite material is the determining factor in ensuring the longevity of the treatment. Only everStick® products have a unique, patented interpenetrating polymer network structure (IPN structure).
This network guarantees powerful adhesion allowing bonded restorations
long-lasting and easy to handle.
The IPN structure finds its importance in the possibility of redrafting the surfaces even after the final polymerization. Reactivation is crucial for superior bonding when
• restorations made in the laboratory are bonded to the teeth;
• fiber-reinforced composite devices are remodeled or repaired.
The IPN structure makes everStick® products fundamentally different
of all other existing fibers or composite materials.
