TeethMate Desensitizer - Kuraray

TeethMate Desensitizer from Kuraray is a desensitizer that crystallizes hydroxyapatite (HAP) to seal dentinal tubules and enamel fissures.

With TEETHMATE™ DESENSITIZER, sensitive teeth are not only treated effectively and sustainably, but also, for the first time, in a natural way. The product was designed to create hydroxyapatite (HAp). Hydroxyapatite is created in the exact places it is needed and seals dentinal tubules and enamel cracks. This product being natural, it also respects the tissues and can be used with confidence.

Two bottles are enough: TEETHMATE™ DESENSITIZER consists of a powder and a liquid which are mixed to create HAp. It can be used to cover exposed, mechanically treated or invisibly prepared dentin. Used on a dental structure prepared before the application of dental adhesives or cements, TEETHMATE™ DESENSITIZER does not alter their adhesion strength. This product can also be applied to a patient's teeth before and after whitening to prevent and treat dentin sensitivity related to whitening.

- Treatment of exposed dentin due to brushing abrasion, gingival recession, periodontal disease and/or acid erosion.

TEETHMATE™ DESENSITIZER instantly crystallizes PAH, perfectly sealing dentinal tubules and enamel cracks. The newly made HAp is invisible and acts as if it were the patient's own. But how is it possible to produce HAp? It's all a question of correct proportions between calcium and phosphate ions, an appropriate pH, all combined with Kuraray Noritake's exclusive technology.

Various studies demonstrate the effectiveness of the application of TEETHMATE™ DESENSITIZER. The product plugs the dentinal tubules, reducing the movement of dental fluid and resulting hypersensitivity. TEETHMATE™ DESENSITIZER has also been shown to be clinically effective in reducing pre- and post-sealing* sensitivity.

Mix and apply

To apply TEETHMATE DESENSITIZER, start by mixing the powder, mainly composed of calcium phosphate, and the liquid, the main component of which is water. Then rub the paste on the affected area. The material transforms into hydroxyapatite, which instantly reduces hypersensitivity by sealing dentinal tubules and enamel microcracks.
