VERICOM Well-Root ST is a root canal sealant, a paste composed of a premixed injectable calcium alumina silicate compound. Intended for permanent root canal obturation, this product offers a reliable and effective solution for endodontic procedures.
Benefits :
- Excellent adhesion to gutta-percha and dentin.
- No shrinkage during curing.
- Generation of hydroxyapatite.
- Demonstration of excellent physical properties.
- Ability to permanently seal the root canal.
Packaging: Each Well-Root ST package contains 2 grams of product, packaged in a single syringe. In addition, the package includes a disposable tip (20 units) and an extension holder, ensuring precise and hygienic application of the material.
Recommended Use: Well-Root ST is recommended for permanent root canal filling during endodontic procedures. Upon curing, calcium ions within body fluids react with phosphate ions, establishing a chemical bond that creates a hydroxyapatite interface between the root canal wall and the filling material. This reaction ensures exceptional sealing ability, ensuring long-term success of the procedure.

Highly compatible and innovative bioceramic root canal sealing and endodontic obturation material, packaged in a ready-to-use syringe.
Not so long ago, MTA was traded almost under the counter, and even then, if you knew the right people, with the promises of a new approach, more conservative and biological, than many specialties (in the pharmaceutical sense of the term) used until then... Time has passed, studies have accumulated, confirming the virtues of these silicate derivatives by expanding their clinical indications year after year.
Logically, the offer has been enriched over time, aiming to eliminate the inconveniences of the original material, mainly revolving around its tedious handling. The result of this approach? A "bioceramic cement" according to the term currently gaining scientific and commercial recognition, which is ready to use and in a syringe for practicality and of a consistency sufficiently fluid to flow through a very fine tip and at the same time which "sticks", as a friend from Marseille says, to both the gutta percha and the canal walls. Vericom, with this Well-Root ST, meets the specifications in all respects. The Korean manufacturer is not talkative, the documentation is succinct, but, on testing, the proposal proves to be entirely convincing in the context of the recommended procedure, namely a single-cone obturation with a gutta-percha cone adapted to the shaping instruments used. The viscosity is perfect, the working time is long enough, although it accelerates in the presence of slight residual humidity in the canal. We said, slight... Immediate re-intervention is largely possible, in the event of a problem detected on the control radio for example!
It is difficult to make a long-term assessment in the context of this trial, even if the results obtained are satisfactory at T0. If we put aside the impossibility of accessing the scientific documentation of the material, the language barrier, etc., Well-Root still deserves to be considered by anyone who wants to explore the multiple possibilities of this new class of endodontic cements without going through the "nerve-breaking" phase of relearning spatulation!
