D-Race (rotary files) FKG - ACTEON

D-Race instruments are used to unobturate the canals of most obturation products (Gutta Percha, stakes, resin-based materials). D-Race removes most of the old filling material.

The D-Race set consists of two NiTi files – DR1 and DR2. The first instrument, DR1, has an active tip to facilitate the attack of the obturation material and is used in the first millimeters of the coronal and right part of the canal.

Once access is cleared with DR1, the second instrument, DR2, is used up to the LT. As this instrument is heavily used, it is for single use. Shaping will be done using dedicated FKG instruments.
