V-Posil Putty Fast is a precision impression material based on addition-cured silicone (VPS) designed to provide an extremely accurate reproduction of intraoral structures. Its very high viscosity allows for excellent stability and optimal support for wash materials.

Thanks to its high hydrophilicity, high tear resistance, and excellent recovery from deformation, V-Posil ensures precise impressions, essential for the creation of perfectly fitting prosthetic restorations.

Clinical comfort and working time

The V-Posil range combines an optimal working time with a short intraoral setting time, offering maximum comfort for both practitioner and patient.

The extraoral working time and the intraoral setting time are harmonized to approximately 2 minutes. The practitioner can adjust the working time by inserting the impression tray earlier to initiate setting.

Optimized setting behavior

The material's viscosity remains stable during the extraoral phase, ensuring simple and precise handling. After insertion into the mouth, the viscosity increases rapidly, which limits the risk of deformation and improves the accuracy of the impression.

The wash material, meanwhile, maintains excellent intraoral flowability, allowing for faithful reproduction of anatomical details.

Optimized hydrophilicity

Addition-cured silicones are naturally hydrophobic. The V-Posil formulation has been optimized to improve wettability and allow for reliable flow even in a moist environment.

This hydrophilicity ensures extremely accurate reproduction of intraoral structures and optimal communication between the dentist and the prosthetic laboratory.
