Glass ionomer material for fast-setting restorations

IonoStar® Plus is a glass ionomer material for fast-setting restorations, designed for a smooth and efficient clinical procedure. After very simple capsule extraction, the material adapts perfectly to the marginal seal and then immediately changes its viscosity: it can be sculpted for at least 1 minute without sticking to the instrument.

IonoStar® Plus sets in just 2 minutes and can be worked on immediately afterward, a major advantage for quick treatments and uncooperative patients (especially in pediatric dentistry). It also features tooth-like fluorescence, ideal for anterior restorations with high aesthetic demands.

Capsule activation (without activator)

The VOCO application capsule allows for simple activation without additional tools:

• Press the capsule against a hard surface (e.g. table) to engage the plunger
• Then mix the capsule in a vibrator
• Lift the application opening, insert into an applicator and apply
