ScoutRace is a sequence of three Race instruments with .02 taper and ISO 10, 15 and 20 diameters. It is dedicated to the mechanized catheterization of canals with severe curvature(s) or “S” type. These are first pass instruments used after determining the working length with manual K files or an apex locator. Canal preparation will be completed using the instruments proposed in the chapter “Canal shaping and cleaning”.
