Description

GC Fuji 9 GP is one of the most popular restorative glass ionomer cements in the world. It is a conventional chemopolymerizable glass ionomer, easy to prepare and shape into the cavity and works perfectly for posterior class I, II and V restorations. It is also ideal for corono-root build-up or as a base.

Fuji IX GP FAST lets you create longer-lasting restorations in half the time: just 3 minutes from start to finish mixing.

Content: 50 Capsules.

Mixing time (seconds) 10"
Extrusion time after mixing 10 seconds max
Working time (minutes, seconds) 1'15"

1. PREPARATION OF THE CAVITY
a) Prepare the cavity. An extension for mechanical retention is not necessary. If pulp capping is necessary, use calcium hydroxide cement.
b) Using a cotton ball or sponge, clean the cavity.
c) Rinse thoroughly with water. Remove moisture from the surface with a cotton ball or gently with an air syringe. DO NOT DEHYDRATE. The prepared surface should be damp (shiny).

3. RESTORATION TECHNIQUE
a) Immediately remove the mixed capsule from the vibrator and place it in the capsule applicator.
b) Press twice to prime the capsule. The working time is 1'15” from the start of mixing at 23°C (73.4°F). Higher temperatures will shorten working time.
c) Maximum 10 seconds after the end of mixing, start extracting the material directly into the preparation.
d) Outline, and place with the die if necessary.
e) In the first 3 minutes following the start of mixing, particular attention must be taken to avoid any risk of contamination by humidity or drying out. In case this cannot be guaranteed, immediately apply a restoration sealant ( Refer to their respective instructions for use.)
Notes:
1) To adjust the direction of the tip, hold the applicator with the capsule facing you and turn the body of the capsule.
2) To remove the used capsule, press the release button on the applicator. Twist the capsule and pull.

4. FINISH
a) Finishing and polishing can begin under water spray for approximately 3 min. after the start of mixing.
b) Apply a final coat of restoration sealant . Refer to their respective instructions for use.
c) Ask the patient to avoid pressure for 1 hour.

CONSERVATION
For optimal performance, store capsules in the original foil wrapper in a cool, dark place (4-25°C) (39.2-77.0°F).
