Description
OpalDam is a methacrylate-based material designed to insulate the tissue adjacent to teeth that are going to be whitened. If you intend to whiten a single piece of teeth, you will need to use OpalDam to protect adjacent pieces. OpalDam is light-cured and has the ability to reflect light to keep tissues insulated from heat. Simply light cure each tooth for approximately 10-20 seconds. Dry the gum completely before applying OpalDam.

OpalDam exists in two colors (white and green): “Classic” OpalDam is a white foam that comes with the Opalescence Boost kits. OpalDam Green is a green moss and provides a sharper contrast to the gum and teeth.
