Clinibone is an ultraporous synthetic bone substitute (approximately 85% porosity) designed for filling bone defects in dental and maxillofacial surgery.

Indications: Clinibone is indicated for the filling or reconstruction of bone defects in oral surgery, periodontology and implantology.

Periodontology: Filling of bone pockets with two or more walls; for filling larger cavities, it is recommended to use a membrane. Peak increase; the use of a membrane is essential for the protection of large surfaces

Properties: It is composed of pure tricalcium phosphate, completely and quickly resorbable: it will be quickly replaced by newly formed bone. Tricalcium phosphate is a bioactive calcium phosphate salt that is more soluble in a biological medium than hydroxyapatite and very close to the mineral phase of human bone. As the TCP granules are radiopaque, the filling of the cavity and the integration of the graft can be followed radiologically. Totally synthetic, Clinibone does not present any immune or infectious risk. Due to its composition, Clinibone is biocompatible, osseointegrated and then resorbed. Due to the shape of its granules, Clinibone solves the problems linked to filling irregularly shaped cavities. Reduces the need for autogenous bone harvesting and operative time.
