A thin tip and a wider one to reduce pressure points on the lip and cheek.

The periosteal elevator is primarily used to lift soft tissue flaps. The ends of the instruments must remain in good condition so as not to tear the flap.
It is also used to loosen the periosteum and gum tissue around the tooth before using extraction forceps.

Sterilizable and disinfectable.
