- Gray polishers are used for maxillofacial polishing (recommended speed is 10,000 – 12,000 rpm);
- Dark pink polishers are used for smoothing and pre-polishing (recommended speed is 8,000 – 10,000 rpm);
- Light pink polishers are used for high gloss polishing (recommended speed is 6,000 – 8,000 rpm).
